NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is expanding its relationship with Royal Philips, entering a 10-year agreement to use its imaging technology.
The New York-based delivery system has entered the agreement to implement the Philips IntelliSpace Enterprise Edition solution across its hospitals and facilities. The vendor’s technology will give the health system access to its full suite of informatics solutions across radiology, cardiology and analytics to help improve efficiency and care delivery.
The delivery system will be able to use a full suite of healthcare informatics applications to help improve efficiencies and quality of care. For example, Philips' solutions will improve the way NewYork-Presbyterian stores data and clinicians' ability to access images quickly across campuses and disciplines.

This implementation builds on a Philips Patient Monitoring and Philips Cardiology Informatics solution installed in some facilities of NewYork-Presbyterian. Philips IntelliSpace Enterprise Edition combines the Philips IntelliSpace Radiology and Cardiology portfolios, as well as PerformanceBridge, into a hospital-wide solution.
The system will have access to advanced 3D informatics; radiology informatics; cardiology informatics; and analytics informatics solutions.
