Video Series: HDM KLASroom – patient experience
Video Learning Series: a solution-oriented educational curriculum developed jointly by Health Data Management and KLAS Research with actionable takeaways for providers to pursue.
Traversing the patient experience ecosystem
The inaugural HDM KLASroom Learning Series addressed substandard patient experiences and ways in which healthcare organizations can use technology and other strategies to get more information to patients, meet their rising expectations for care delivery and incorporate them into the care team.
The solution-oriented educational curriculum, developed between Health Data Management and KLAS Research, provided a range of evidence-based learning sessions over a four-week series of web events that offered actionable takeaways for providers to pursue.
This HDM KLASroom series included insights and lessons from 15 health systems and multiple KLAS Research studies delivered through a video learning experience.
Sessions included:
- How to use data to understand the full scope of patient needs.
- How the Medical University of South Carolina is pursuing a patient- and family-centered care program, and how it’s implementing the components of its program
- How healthcare organizations are leveraging best practices for consumer engagement from outside the healthcare industry.
- Presentations from leading pioneers in patient engagement initiatives, including Providence, Piedmont Healthcare, Tampa General Hospital, BayCare Health System, Houston Methodist, Banner Health and others.
